Louis Vuitton’s new campaign stars Yasiin Bey,
aka Mos Def, reciting some of Muhammad Ali’s speeches, as a tribute to ‘The
Greatest’. Created by Ogilvy Paris and directed by Stuart McIntyre of Steam
Films, the vides see Bey moving inside a dark, sinister, boxing ring recounting
two poetic speeches made by the boxing legend while graphics from Niels Show
Meulman elaborate on the words. The
campaign comprises a dedicated website containing recordings of Ali’s notorious
speeches, and photos. Two more films are set to follow in Autumn, “Float” and “Life”.
Serving up the latest and the greatest in fashion and beauty, with a side order of candor.

Wishlist: Louis Vuitton Waffle Maker
Don't really have to say much about this. Designed by LA-based artist Andrew Lewicki, who has previously designed Oreo Cookie shaped manhole covers. If you can't afford to have a Louis on your arm, I guess second best is in your stomach?
Marc Jacobs S/S 2013 Lookbook

Marc Jacobs, American fashion designer and creative director of Louis Vuitton, has provided a preliminary glimpse at his Spring/Summer 2013 collection as part of Milan Fashion Week. The collection harmonises a nostalgic memory of Bugsy Malone, inspiration drawn from the F. Scott Fitzgerald's Tender is the Night, and an echo of the French Riviera. Expect to see a line boasting
carefully tailored suits, piercing pinstripe,
trilbies (which I’m usually
completely hostile towards), belted trench coats and a sprinkling of all-over
colourful, summer appropriate prints to accompany your lychee mojito on the
beach. Plus, it's always pleasant to see Cole Mohr in a tux.
Just some
of the collection:
