Albion Trinketry?

The move from worldwide fame in the music and/or film industry to fashion is eerily familiar nowadays, and can work harmoniously (à la Sienna Miller) or the complete opposite (à la Holly Willoughby). Although its a 'natural' transition, there's one person I didn't expect a luxury product range to come from.... Mr. Pete Doherty.

Is this the new face of high-end jewellery designing? We'll have to wait and see.

Pete Doherty is combining his creative talents with successful jewellery designer Hannah Martin, boasting a collection of statement jewellery, echoing the style of Dominic Jones.

Pete will be launching the 'Albion Trinketry' collection later this year and consists of fifteen items; cufflinks, rings, pins, chains for the neck and watch which in turn can be adapted in order to interlink pieces together to create a unique look.

I'm wondering if Pete's talent can transfer to fashion, and can't help but think the pieces may be reminiscent of rusty burnt spoons and 'trinkets' to keep party powders in. However that does not keep me from being excited from the unravelling of the collection.
