Pastel Leopard-print Nail Art Tutorial

I've seen this design done by loads of nail artists recently, so I thought I'd give it a feeble attempt. This is my first try, but I will be doing it again as its so versatile you can do it with pretty much any two nail varnishes.

Firstly I applied two coats of Barry M in Blueberry:

Secondly I dotted my Barry M Limited Edition 203, which is a really lovely shade of mauve:

Now is the step I found slighty tricky on my right hand, seeing as I'm right-handed. I used a really cheap, simple black nail art brush made by Janet, from katyscosmetics.co.uk only £1.19! To do this step, it's easiest to just try and outline the dots, but slightly fragmented. I read on another leopard print tutorial it's good to think of outlining a big 'C' on one side of the dot, and a small 'c' on the other, so whatever works for you really. To finish just give a light top coat, I used Barry M's a all-in-one, and voila:

Happy Painting!

p.s. A good tip: If you don't own a nail art pen or brush, then use liquid eye-liner. It's almost a better product to use, as any mistakes can be wiped of gently with a make-up wipe or tissue, without removing the rest of the paint.
